Built for older homes

Prairie Village's median home was built in 1959, according to the Census Bureau's American Community Survey (2020–2024). Homes of that age come with their own plumbing questions: original sewer laterals under mature trees, aging drain and supply pipe, and water heater venting that may not suit a modern furnace.
